Turkey Juicy Lucy


Makes 1 Burger

4 ounces ground turkey
1 tablespoon crumbled blue cheese
(or 1 slice of cheddar or other sliced cheese)
1 hamburger bun

Divide the 4 ounces of ground turkey in half and make two thin patties. Place the crumbled blue cheese top of one patty. (The cheese should not come out to the edge of the patty). Set the other patty on top and pinch around the edges until it’s well sealed. Season with salt and pepper. Place the patty on the heated grill or skillet and grill about 4 minutes per side. Don’t press down on the burger or the cheese will ooze out. While cooking the patty, quickly warm or brown the buns on the grill or griddle.

Serve with lettuce, tomatoes and condiments for your choice.
